1. Discipline
- All students should be punctual. They are expected to be in the school before the first bell at 08;15 a.m. The school gates will be closed at 08;30 a.m.
Students who come late will not be admitted to the class without permission from the Principal. - The late comers will be marked absent for half a day. Habitual late comers will be sent home.
- Children are not allowed to apply mehendi on their hands. Running , playing, shouting and whistling inside the school building are not allowed .They must walk quietly when passing along the corridors and staircases.
- Pupils are expected to take good care of their belongings. The children should not bring any valuable things to the school. The school is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings such as books, money, ornaments etc.
- Irregular attendance ,unsatisfactory performance in studies ,disobedience or disrespect to teachers, stealing, writing or scribbling on the walls , malpractice in examination, unruly behavior, causing damage to school property are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student from the school.
- Pupils should keep their classrooms and school premises clean.
- The school discourages private tuitions .Home assignments are to be done regularly, carefully and submitted on time .
- All damages to the school property, including stains must be attended to by the offender.
2. Dress Code/ School Uniform
- Wearing full and clean uniform is compulsory for all. No excuses will be accepted. They will be punished or sent home at the parents risk.
- Children are not allowed to apply mehendi , tattoos , wrist bands , fancy items , etc.
- Students are strictly prohibited from stitching uniform as per the fashion trend [Regular school uniform pattern only permitted]
- Hair should be combed neatly, braded only cross plait for girls–ribbon should be tied neatly . Boys hairs to be trimmed properly.
- Students are prohibited from getting electronic gadgets to school.
- Students are asked to come modestly dressed to school.
3. School Fees
- The school fees will be charged for 10 months.
- They are collected in 8 months .The school fees for February and March have to be paid in February
only . - The school fees amount is fixed by themanagement and is subject to periodic revision to cope up with the staff pay increase and for providing infrastructure .Refer the fee card regarding the payment of fees/
- The fees should be paid before the 10 th of every month. Fine of Rs.50/- per month will be collected for late fee payment. If the fee is not paid regularly month after month, the student shall be sent back home. All dues should be cleared before each Assessment exam and before the issue of Admit Card.
- Students will not be allowed to sit for any of the PA’s or SA’s until all fees or dues to the school are
paid upto date. - Incase of genuine difficulty , a written request for the delay must be submitted by the parents before 20 th of the month. Habitual delay in payment may cause the students to be sent home at their own risk.
4. Examinations and Promotion
- Periodic Assessments are compulsory for all .Pupils have to correct their mistakes found in the answer paper and thus improve their academic performance .
- If a students is absent for PA’s or SA’s he or she shall be awarded zero. A re-test or examination will not be conducted whatever may be the reason except when a student is required to represent the school in outside competitions.
- A student who has not paid the fees , will not be allowed in the class or to write tests or
- A student who copies in the PA’s or SA’s will be dismissed immediately from the school.
- Result declared at the end of the year is final . No reconsideration of the student who has been detained in the class will be entertained .A student who fails twice in the same class shall be asked to leave the school at the end of the year.
- Grades are awarded depending on the percentage of marks secured in the PA’s or SA’s.
- Progress Reports are issued at the end of each Periodic Assessment and Summative Assessment usually on the second Saturday of the month. The parents must come to the school to receive the Progress Reports.
- They will have to go through the progress report , sign and give it to the Class Teacher . When a child fails in any subject the parents must do the needful to improve the marks in future PA’s or SA’s.
- Promotion of a student to the higher class is made after evaluating the students performance in each subject, in the PA’s or SA.’s. A minimum of 35 percent marks in each subject and 90 percent attendance are required for promotion.
- The dates of Periodic Assessment and Summative Assessment are given the student diary. They may be changed due to unforeseen circumstances.
