On the 12th of October, the lower kindergarten of our school celebrated Yellow Day. The motive of celebrating this day was to make the kids aware of the colour yellow, its significance and to develop the fine motor skills in the students. The day began with a fun-filled introduction concerning the colour yellow. The whole corridor was decorated with yellow balloons and cutouts. Students were all dressed up in different hues and tints of yellow. The Colour of wisdom and intellectual energy had positive vibes in our tender tots. Focusing on the theme, students were asked to bring boiled sweet corn for the activity. They took the corn kernels off the cob with much care and involvement. The children enjoyed the activity and made the learning event active and sporty.
Students and teachers dressed up in red. All the children did red stamping on their face, drew red peacock using handprint and stuck red objects on the walls of the school to mark the presence of little angels in the whole school. They were given red pasta for breakfast. The Kindergarten(K.G) section of School celebrated the red day. It was a pleasant and cool blue day for the tiny tots. The significance of the red color was reiterated through a series of activities. The dress code of the day was red. Excitement and enthusiasm were visible everywhere. All the children came dressed up in different shades and hues of red.
